YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE. I gave up most of my material understandings and possessions in pursuit of creativity. This was a painful journey; I’m a full adult with “real” responsibilities. To most, this would be seen as being irresponsible and carless. I agree. But, this was the only way to reach it. I was over stimulated with wealth and abundance. I was numb to the real pleasures of life. So I needed to feel pain. And what it’s done for me is like the body fasting. My sense and understandings of how things work and what’s important became so much more clear. Now, when and if the wealth does come back, it will be managed and appreciated differently. I was more rich when I could see my love ones as the real jewels of the world. Not this fictions, manipulated currency we all call “money” JUST SOME OF MY THOUGHTS…
I want to use tech that doesn’t have blood on its hands. I want a computer without ties to child slavery somewhere in Africa. Is this possible?
Learn to study unconscious habits with high frequency that possess unavoidable frustrations.
Mastering the skill of mining up great ideas that actually help people. It took longer than what i expected but I’m getting there. Feeling blessed.
What’s is life if you don’t have purpose or a sense of self? How can you trust anyone that looks at karma like a fable child story; doesn’t that make the person free to do what he/she pleases without consequences? If there isn’t/ aren’t any consequences, how can one know right from wrong? What steers them to make the right choose when there isn’t a scale that measures you?
I’m not gonna lie, there’s too many social media options. It might be time to hang it up for good. The semi-addiction is def there, and don’t quite know how to resolve it. On one hand, you need social to promote your business. On the other, you can get consumed by all the recent news and opinions. But, with all of that — there’s one thing that I know is true: The business model and social status structure is changing. Followers = money opportunities Audience = wealth generation Brands and companies will need to be people driven rather than basic brand driven. At one point it was okay just to be a clever brand, but now you have to be clever with a personal figure to speak on the company’s behalf. The curator that filters information is almost as revolutionary as generative AI, in the sense that the work and quality check is being done for you. And, let’s not forget the ability to cultivate and build communities; this is another new paradigm shift when it comes to businesses. My last point: in the beginning, the internet allowed people to upload information. In the beginning, there wasn’t enough of it. Now, there’s too much of it and we need to filter out what matters and what’s relevant. For now humans can handle this. But when AI does approach AGI, people will still play a huge part in being the face for the AI’s work. Humans will always love humans. My honest predictions part 1 .
More innovation is needed in a time where media is being decentralized as we speak. There are many avenues now which mean your ability to convey curated information with a personal analysis is required. If not, your ability to be misdirected becomes likely. My thoughts on this are changing everyday, and coming to a conclusion of the media revolution is in fact for the better of humanity or a disguise placed as a new alternative of thought to decisive. I fear there is a alternate agenda not fully visible, but will be a few years from now. Learning how to learn fast will be a skill. Learning this skill takes deconstructing your mind; we need programs that help with this. We have to break free of this copy cat mentality to really break it. I’m dedicated to this cause.
Information on all fronts should be democratized so all walks of life can benefit from it. The problem: most organizations are unaware on how to use technology to help with doing providing new information,I.e., not using the web and the resources available to make sure the youth is in the loop on technological advancements, and providing those resources so they can choose a career that match the state of our economy. A.I is the perfect example of this. The youth should be fully emerged in this. All young people should be aware of generative A.I and how it works underneath the hood. This should of been the case for blockchain technology, too. And this should of been the case for Apples’ App Store and the internet. Information is so vital for people with opportunities to keep up with what’s important, and how they can set them selfs’ up for having a decent career. Becoming a banker now isn’t like becoming a banker back in the early 80s. But the idea that’s where all the opportunities are is still being pushed in schools. It’s not true anymore. This needs to change. Learning how LLMs work 5-years from now dose the youth no justice. We need a system that available for all young people so they can be a part of the silicon valley ecosystem from abroad. As a non-profit, Urban Valley is going to change this through strategic partnerships.
