UK headlines are getting properly grim. This video stitches a few together:
• TV Licensing can still visit even after a "no licence needed" declaration
• Digital ID creep (and "learner IDs" for kids)
• Ofcom is monitoring VPN usage and spending on monitoring tools
• The ongoing row over single-sex spaces guidance
• Remote English tests for visas and the cheating risk
• Met vetting failures that let serious offenders slip through

What part worries you most right now?

Four "free" second passports, with a big asterisk. The pitch here is "free in air quotes", you put capital into an investment route and, if you choose well, you might get most of it back later.
The four options in this video:
1. Turkey, property route (hold, then sell later)
2. Egypt, property route
3. Jordan, bonds route
4. Saint Lucia, bonds route
Worth saying out loud: not legal or financial advice, rules and pricing can change quickly, and the risks are real (liquidity, politics, banking, taxes, compliance). Still, it's an interesting lens on resilience and optionality.

$500 billion just "signalled a Bitcoin explosion", at least according to this Simply Bitcoin episode. Their take is basically: the system's wobbling, budgets are ballooning, jobs feel shaky, and Bitcoin keeps looking like the exit door. They also touch on topics like Rumble's Bitcoin wallet, Trump's moves, and the broader push for surveillance.
Watch it here:
Do you buy the "pivot point" argument, or is it just headline hype? And what Signal do you reckon matters more right now, liquidity, regulation, or custody?

I'm always here for the privacy conversation, but I'm also wary of the word "untraceable". On most transparent chains, it's more like "harder to follow", not "invisible". Self-custody (you hold the keys) is not the same thing as anonymity.
If you're watching this, ask yourself: what's your actual threat model, and what are you trying to protect against? Also, are you considering the legal and practical consequences (e.g., exchanges flagging coins that look "mixed")?

New blog post is live: How tokenisation could transform Finance like the internet transformed information.
If the web let anyone publish, tokenisation could let more people access ownership, investment, and value, without the usual gatekeepers.
I break down what tokenisation is, how it works, where it's already happening (real estate, bonds, funds, NFTs), and what risks you should actually care about.
Read it here:

What would you tokenise first if it made sense: property, shares, art, or something else?

Been testing Zorin OS and honestly, this is the closest I’ve felt to “Linux for normal people” without the usual headaches. It gives me that Windows 10 comfort, but without the bloat and nonsense.
Watch:
Have you tried Zorin yet, or are you still hunting for a distro that just behaves?

Starmer's under pressure to scrap Digital ID, and honestly, this is the right conversation to be having in public, not behind closed doors.
If digital ID becomes the default gateway to work, travel, healthcare, banking, or simply existing online, it stops being "convenient" and becomes a control layer.
We're told it'll be secure and "trusted", backed by frameworks and certifications. But a trusted framework is not the same thing as a trustworthy outcome for you, especially when the incentives drift over time.
If you care about privacy and self-sovereignty, the questions are simple:
Who controls it?
What becomes mandatory?
What happens when you opt out?
And how quickly does "voluntary" turn into "you can't do X without it"?

Wall Street "helping" crypto always comes with strings attached.
The GENIUS Act (stablecoins) is already law, and the CLARITY Act (market structure) is moving through the Senate right now. The question is whether this is clarity for users or capture for incumbents.

What do you think is the real target here: DeFi, self-custody, or smaller issuers?
