2023. burnt out. career crushed me. 60-80 days. toxic corpo execs. making streaming shows. hollywood types. 25 years in. all that work. couldn't show it. have nothing _to_ show. even my originals, belonged to the studios.
walked away. took time to heal. traveled. journaled. rebuilding. it's been a journey. re-establishing a connection with my craft.
2024, started writing again. started sketching and drawing. creating. learning to love the process again.
did things digitally. it helped. but missing something.
wife's been painting. making things by hand. she inspired me.
been making zines. one a day. something simple. raw. back to basics. pen and paper. sometimes digitally too.
friends and family asked for some. started printing. then, just to see if i could, opened a shop on plebian market. sold 5 sets within hours. turned an idea real.

you got an idea. you make it. you post it. using bitcoin and nostr, it's out to market in an hour. permissionless. powerful. encouraging.
showed a friend. a fellow creative. renewed sense emerged. he signed up to nostr. got himself a wallet. glad it helped.
so yeah. making zines. selling zines. self-published works. handmade. if you want 'em, come get 'em. limited run. started with a 50 print. trimming to 21. i'm having fun with these.
