Where I am at odds with a portion of Fedi is that I do not think that Fedi should be a "safe space" for any particular group of people. If you want to make your corner of Fedi a safe space, that's perfectly fine, no one's stopping you. But I view Fedi as an all-encompassing social network, the people's network, and in that sense it should be open to everyone, including groups of people that hate each other.
