I'm still on my kick of playing with tracker technology for luggage and more, and a question as arisen: I often get messages about "unknown Air Tag traveling with you" because all of the ones I'm using belong to Tarah or Emily or someone else other than me. Let's say you *do* get a message like that, what steps would you take to locate such an Air Tag? With a suitcase it's pretty straightforward, but what about a motorcycle or a car? You can't reasonably tear the entire thing apart. I would think that the Apple's ultrawideband technology would be used in getting that pinpoint localization of the tag, but is that available to people other than the tag's current owner or authorized parties? Can a "stranger" ping a nearby Air Tag and fix its position discretely with their own iPhone? If they can't what's the alternative? An SDR with a very specific directional antenna?

Liven up the group chats you're in by posting any or all of these images along with some bullshit bombastic emojis like 🇺🇸🤜🤛🇷🇺🧙‍♂️🥵🍆💦 then abruptly delete it all about 15 minutes later, saying something like "Wait, shit, is this the chat WITH reporters or WITHOUT reporters??"

Many of you know that the administration is trying a lot of fuckery with US Passports and gender markers right now. They violated the Administrative Procedure Act by doing this without a comment period. Right now, they are trying to cure the APA violation by having an after-the-fact comment period...

If you can, please go add your voice. You may think it will make no difference, but the courts can and will look at all of this. I've downloaded my whole Instagram archive in JSON format but would like to join an instance that hasn't nerf'd their features. Have you ever been riding an elevator and found yourself enjoying a pleasant and soothing woman's voice incorporated into the announcements in the cab? While many companies in the industry do this now, the first and for a long time the only manufacturer to offer this feature was Otis Elevators. I was seized with the desire to know more about the person behind the voice and ultimately decided to look her up and call her.
