So, here's a milestone. Today I had my last electrolysis session of the year and, more importantly, my last "downstairs" electrolysis session EVER! And there was much rejoicing. Mostly by me. I'm pausing face electrolysis until I recover sufficiently from next month's va-jay-jay surgery. Which probably means I won't take up the zapping again for at least six weeks or so after that. Right now I have less facial and neck hair than most cis women. Especially for someone my age. So, I don't expect to have all that many sessions next year anyway. Probably just once a month to start with until the break between them gets so long as to be pointless to continue. To put this in perspective, I was having face electrolysis twice a week when I started just a little over two years ago in August of 2023. So, yeah, progress. 😊
Today is exactly one month away from va-jay-jay surgery on Thursday, November 20. I'm both excited and terrified. Which, I'm told is appropriate. Doesn't make me feel any calmer about it though.
It has now been one week since my "emboobening." After replacing the projectile vomit- and constipation-inducing opiate with Journavx, a new pain medication, things are going much smoother. The first two days of recovery were hell but @💜💜 Jessica 💜💜 and my son were there to help me through it. Thank Dog I don't remember much of it. I met with my surgeon briefly yesterday and she said, aside from some slight bruising on my abdomen and the sides of my chest (which she's not at all worried about), everything looks as expected and seems to be healing just fine. Movement and other restrictions are still in place so it's gonna be a dull next few weeks. Better play lots and lots of video games while I wait, right? My supersized boobs are sitting "high and tight," as they say, but they should settle and "fluff" over the next three to six months. Until my sister reminded me, I didn't measure the girls until last night. Looks like I'm at least a D cup 'cause my band is still 36 inches and that new bust is now 40.5 inches. Woo hoo! Anyway, Lisa has a new reason to smile when she looks in the mirror. Totally worth the pain, inconvenience and cost. Would recommend! 😊🥰💖
