Proposed: EU authorities publishing official documents (draft regulations, consultations, etc.) should be REQUIRED to link to the actual doc in all the other pages of summary, puffery, and praise that inevitably get published at the same time. Think of the person-hours saved...
This was a great discussion of a big brewing topic. As public interest in middleware grows (great!) we will see terrible nonsense "middleware" laws, like the one the Missouri AG is pushing. We talk about the promise, the problems, & how Moody and @Bluesky fit in. [www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJfV...]( ) [Algorithmic Choice or Regulato...]( )

Is someone DMCA-ing down online copies of Project 2025? I had trouble finding a free online version of a Project 2025 chapter last week. Old news reporting has links to a PDF file with "full" in the name. But that URL now just redirects to a page selling hard copies of Project 2025. https://inkcap.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:7zwztfs4yywggefayx7oid35&cid=bafkreihub56wv5wp3juwj6tr4x33mb72cs4tikxv6swiwmwd6zw6gibvky

Um does this ad for X’s AI assistant show a literal screenshot from Bladerunner? Maybe firing all the copyright lawyers was a mistake. https://inkcap.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:7zwztfs4yywggefayx7oid35&cid=bafkreifwsfuxm5mmaekfv2f4ne5pb6f67agqal7lfqnhxtir5duoiy5wga
