present-day bluesky is the perfect test for whether adoption of open protocol could have actually led to twitter's decentralization, cause decentralization wouldn't have been some magic switch for them to flip either. everyone would still start on their servers
I installed Asahi Linux (Fedora Minimal) on an M2 Air and I can't get Niri to work for some reason. It runs fine within a window under Gnome, but trying to run it on its own just produces a black screen. It's clearly functional, since the keyboard shortcut to exit works, but I can't see anything.
