SSDs in the Umbrel Home are powered by Phison NVMe controller and SK Hynix NAND for maximum performance and endurance. For the unaware, Phison's customers include Apple, Seagate, Crucial, etc, and SK Hynix is also the NAND supplier for Apple, Microsoft, Asus, Dell, etc. That said, we still shouldn't rely on one SSD as the single point of failure. That's why backups are high up on our roadmap after umbrelOS 1.0.
