its interesting that bsky seems to be pivoting from setting your website as username as a form of verification to a way to connect your social presence with your web presence.
website as username is a cool and powerful feature, but simply not good for verification. good for other things tho!

I dont think its an accident that pretty much all the new appviews we start to see on atproto are less about communications and more about sharing public data in some structure, whether that is book reviews, recipes, linktree clones or pastebin clones
