It’s been a day since we shared our post, and we haven’t received any donations yet. We’re trying to raise 450€ to get a gas cylinder and stove so we can finally cook again. I see people abroad holding “NO KINGS SINCE 1776” signs and I can’t help but nod from Gaza. You let one leader become “too important to question,” and suddenly your voice doesn’t matter anymore. Trust me we know where that road leads. You don’t need a golden crown to act like a king. Power worship is dangerous in any country. No Kings. Not in Palestine. Not in America. #nokings #nokingsday

There’s a misconception about the ceasefire. People think life gets better instantly. It doesn’t. I still walk through the market staring at fruits I can’t afford. Our house was destroyed months ago along with our gas cylinder and stove. Yesterday we got an SMS to collect gas, but a new cylinder is $200 and the gas stove is $600. Unreal. A ceasefire stops the bombs, not the struggle. Opened Telegram to see that #sumudflotilla ships were all intercepted by the IDF. It shattered the little hope I was clinging to today. Every time there’s a chance of aid, a glimpse of light, it gets crushed before reaching us. When will the world act?
