We met so many wonderful bitcoiners from Berlin and all over the world. One evening, we all piled into a few cars and drove south of town to a place called Paradise Pineda. Our $2 per person entry fee was definitely worth the views and the photo opportunities, in spite of the fact it was cash only. I really try not to post peoples' faces on Nostr as I cannot "take it back" if someone isn't cool with it. So it limits the photos that I can include.
Fun at sunset!
Street breakfast for $1.70.
Overall I really enjoyed our few days in Berlin and would love to go back. The circular economy is taking root here. I have never been anywhere like it. I am hoping I didn't make a mistake by not planning to stay here longer.

so that was a nice start.
What they are doing at the Bitcoin Community Center is amazing. So many businesses here accept sound money. The local business people seem so happy when asked "Accepta Bitcoin?" The Bitcoin group here is really educating the local merchants on the WHY and HOW of Bitcoin. They have English classes for kids and adults and tons more. I was walking around the center in awe of the great energy and didn't end up taking any photos inside the center! Please forgive me.
They are doing good work here and I am so excited to see what is going to unfold in Berlin over the next few years.

This is a really cool tree at the top of hike that isn't exactly where we planned to go. But it was a good workout for the calves and glutes and not too hot and sunny.
Even the butterflies know about lightning here
