nostr can be confusing to those unfamiliar with it @primal has created a wonderful UX and I recommend it to all newcomers I don’t use nostr as a typical social media tool, I use it as a comms layer for @Canadian Orange Party 🟠 I only follow @Canadian Orange Party 🟠 (central) and active orange operators I use the app to receive broadcast announcements from central, to send or receive encrypted direct messages with operators, and to send/receive sats (small fractions of bitcoin) I send sats to central to support projects I receive sats from central for work done I vote on proposals with sats I don’t scroll feeds, I only check the platform once a day or when I’m inspired to post a note Hope this helps others who are struggling to navigate nostr and understand the utility of it
