A day in the life of a tech book writer..... I'm currently updating the Production chapter in Django for Professionals. Quite a bit of newness but of course I focus on the opening paragraphs first. Look at the old version, hate it, spend 3 hours writing something else. Get lunch, return and read both. Go, old version wasn't so bad after all. Ultimate version will probably be 70/30 old versus new. This is how updates go for me at least 😀
