Think about this…. If you are waiting for the bull run or talking about the Bitcoin cycle this…or the Bitcoin cycle that….and you are waiting to become “wealthy” or are hodling or are going to buy that “insert anything valued in fiat terms” then….you (yes you) are still projecting “fiat” value ideas onto/into the network…???
Don’t worry or get down on yourself…we all do it. I mean it’s all we have ever known….

I think much of what is happening in our society today - is due to the breaking down of trust in all the systems we have built (until 1-3-2009 anyway) and even much of what is being built in/on Bitcoin/bitcoin now.
We are nothing without that trust…that knowledge that what I can give has value and is mine…to give freely. That trust that what you give me is valuable and yours to give freely…That trust that we are all free to value each others value according to our internal value system. That trust that the signal I receive from others isn’t clouded by manipulated currency or worse (manipulation of peoples value in making/providing) the signal to me.
This is why WOT (web of trust) is so important-this is why we are all rigging with each other through bitcoin (in my opinion). Bitcoin helps eliminate the noise of those signals of what is accurate and what is riddled with error…
The beauty of Bitcoin is that it does this with everything over time….
It’s like a filter on reality that eliminates the noise of the unknown or the “wrongly-known” and allows that pure, truth to come through.

Maybe the next time you compare bitcoin to some arbitrary piece of paper, or some company that claims they can provide you more bitcoin by giving them your “time/energy in abstracted form” ( @jack mallers ) maybe you will remember that it is all noise and that no one but you (the sovereign individual) can determine your worth.
