Everyone has a story about cancer. A parent. A friend. A loved one. In 2024 alone, there were 2.7 million new cancer cases diagnosed and 1.3 million cancer-related deaths. This is why prevention, early detection, care, and research matter, and why we have invested €2.7 billion here. Today, on World Cancer Day, we mark 5 years of Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan.
