It's always rather disappointing to me when older feminists get stuck on second wave feminism, and, even in our current moment, don't consider the entire context of the backlash we are experiencing. Like, yes, the right wing populists are inevitably coming for women's rights, such as the right to bodily autonomy, but to state that it is the first thing they came for is at best incomplete, and at its worst downright dishonest.
Immigrants would like a word, for one, and so would trans people, and other LGBTQI+ folks.
And that's before you get to all the work done by Black women for the third wave, which some white feminists apparently still have not recognised.
Knock that shit off.
