Using websocat to send a kind 1 REQ to the #Nosflare relay and then watching new events live streamed through the websocket connection is so pleasing. The new v7 update has been a huge success in placing this serverless relay implementation on par with the most widely used relay offerings. I literally have the legendary @Cameri🐦🔥 to thank for inspiration. I used his Nostream for my first relay a few years ago. It inspired me to ponder "how can I do this using Cloudflare workers", and it has been a wild journey ever since.
Say what you will about “clownflare” but their fight against AI scrapers is pretty admirable imo and definitely has saved many of my projects from abuse from the tens of millions and hundreds of terabytes of bandwidth in junk requests.
