I wasn't sure if I wanted to share this story with the world, but here we go.
On the 1st of May, I was beaten up by a crowd while I was out on an #OpenStreetMap survey in MandΔwali, #Delhi, #India.

On the train ride back from Patna (#BiharFOSS), @npub188m0...kczn and I sardonically thanked Trump for the state of things in the US, which may have been why #GitHub disabled the #OrganicMaps repo and forced them to move to #FreedomRespecting #Codeberg.
"This will hopefully teach people why it's important to boycott #proprietary platforms. But why do people always wait around for such things to pass? #FreeSoftware activists had been warning them for like 10 years!" (Also...Sourceforge???)

Another happy landing. Or - another mappy workshop π
I look @#βΉ%ing gross in the photos, but I'm really satisfied with how this workshop went π
Also, thanks to @npub1eyku...ndu6 for sponsoring the travel costs. My official role at the conference was to help with the Prav talk and table π
