WireGuard over TCP has been re-enabled on some servers in Gothenburg, Malmö, Oslo, Frankfurt, Amsterdam, London, and Vienna. Please note that WireGuard over TCP is not a feature for anything other than bypassing UDP blocks. It comes with higher resource and battery usage, as well as a significant performance reduction.

We have been experiencing issues with our WireGuard over TCP obfuscation method, leading us to temporarily disable this feature whilst we work on a solution.

Response to "TunnelCrack" vulnerability disclosure

Mullvad is mostly unaffected by the TunnelCrack VPN vulnerabilities. This is our response to the recently disclosed set of attack vectors on VPNs.

Our third VPN server audit has now been completed by Radically Open Security. “The Mullvad VPN relays which were the subject of this test showed a mature architecture, with the administrators demonstrating a high degree of experience and motivation to tackle the issues we found” Read the audit report here:
