Animosity proved stronger than character or ideology.

Only a completely uninformed person, or a fool, could think that Republicans have done any governing in well over a decade, yet the press never tells them that story. They simply must suggest both sides are just as bad. And Democrats still have no education campaigns to redress that misconception. Election campaign ads don’t do that. We need broad-based (and costly) public education strategies.

Each day, the media brings us another story about how Blacks and Latinos are disappointed by Democrats. Never do they try to explain to those populations that most of what they think is true about Democrats complete bullshit, and dictated almost verbatim to the popular press by Republican operatives, or pundits desperate for a daily narrative. So it goes.

Doc says she’s seeing out of the eye, and there is healing thus far thanks to all the antibiotics and plasma. There’s no guarantee it will completely heal, but surgery has none either. The long term risks of post-puncture infection are the same, but I’m glad she can keep her eye for now.

DAMN it. i knew this was going to happen,. I bought TWO microsoft sculpt keyboards, and finally popped off a key for cleaning. I broke one of the hinges, It’s the most ridiculously fragile design. Standard keyboards are fussy, but not this awful. It’s going to need a new hinge and the vendor has a terrible tutorial. I broke the F-ing hinge just trying to understand it.
