It seems axiomatic that your “burn it all down,” and “Democrats are the real fascists” crowd usually have about 0 to 25 followers. They always turn up their search trolling for our elections. (And no, that’s not a reason to reject Search; just asshole propagandists shrieking nihlistic chaos into the ether.)

I’ve had very similar thoughts lately. I rarely express them in public because of the “not all gamers” responses—or worse. I’ve always been skeptical of claims that there was no social harm from millions of people spending 2-5 hours each day indulging in fantasies and alternate realities. It’s just counter-intuitive. While wondering where all these anarchist trolls were coming from, I checked out their mothership instance, which shall be my first domain block after reading this there. It could be one of the most naive, trite, utterly ridiculous pieces of political agitprop I’ve ever read. I know 7th graders who make more interesting and sometimes even accurate tirades about capitalism without this level of nitwittery. It scares me how many know-nothings fall for this kind of sophomoric blithering.
