They want us to forget the damage done by the lack of regulation of user profiling. Instead they argue that regulating user profiling and AI would be a disaster. ElkjΓΈp, likely the largest Norwegian based electronics store, is now running ads for Copilot where they speak about how great Recall is. Likely the ad is paid for by Microsoft. They show the picture below and they talk of how great it is that the machine remembers everything you have done with it (and has the pictures to prove it!). I guess when you make something that most people do not want, you just push it harder.
