We updated SimpleX Chat Privacy Policy & Conditions of Use. It's more Power to the People! 1. Added content license in groups, and stated that NO LICENSE is granted to the server operators or ourselves. We do not ask for ANY license to YOUR content! 2. Added the conditions of access to preconfigured servers via modified 3rd party applications. The previous policy version prohibited it, unintentionally. Thanks to the users developing apps for suggesting it! 3. Clarified some definitions: - "aggregate statistics" explicitly excludes any stats that can be related to particular users. - the content that can be removed changed from "identified illegal content" to "illegal content identified in publicly accessible resources". These changes do not change how we work: we never had user-related statistics, and we technically and legally cannot access private chats. Our privacy policy also: - includes a commitment to run the published code, - re-confirms the absence of any compulsory requests. Thanks to all users for suggesting these changes.
