As economies and populations continue to decline, we’ll see real estate around the world being sold for as little as $1—or even given away for free. But is it worth buying? Not right now. Hodl on to your Bitcoin for now, because in the long run, the countries you’ll want to be in will be the ones with strong energy production and manufacturing capabilities. You can buy an entire town, but without a solid energy and manufacturing base, you’ll end up living like a caveman. This is the advice I’ve been giving to Bitcoiners who think moving to El Salvador is a good idea. As Bitcoin continues to disrupt global economies, you’ll have plenty of options for countries to move to and real estate at bargain prices—but only a few will actually be worth it.
