If clients could add a simple 'trending hashtags' section with basic Web of Trust (WOT) for spam filtering and relevant recommendations, it would bring much more fun to Nostr. It would make it easier to create new trends, facilitate organized discussions, and be especially beneficial for new users. I understand there some challenges, but I believe the effort would be absolutely worth it.
Today, while reading about the Administrative Aspects of Napoleon, I inadvertently delved into a fascinating rabbit hole surrounding "compound interest-based loans," also referred to as "usury." Napoleon was strongly against it. It appears that throughout history, many civilizations, both Christian & Islamic considered usury sinful and even illegal. Yet, in our modern era, entire economies are built upon it. I'm starting to believe that perhaps they knew something we have since forgotten. Don't you have any opinion around it? Imagine being this Astronaut, on this untethered spacewalk. I really hope that before I die, space tourism becomes more practical. I truly want to see Earth from space, that's a dream. 😌 I also want to do other things but I know most of them are not practical/possible, at least in my lifetime. Tbh, it bothers me a lot. 😅 image
