okay nobody asked for this but i stayed up too late and messed up my sleep to watch that hot garbage so here is what I saw in the US VP debate that i would not have known from the coverage this morning (short 🧵) - I know the republican party just lies all the time now, but JD really lied continuously, almost exclusively, for two hours. A fact check of his debate performance would have to be checking to see if he stated any facts.

I’ve been trying not to imagine any “what if she wins…?” scenarios because I frankly just can’t bear going through the disappointment again. But a scene came to me where I’m a crotchety old lady crankily lecturing a young’un “we hadn’t even had a female president when I was your age!” and I want to do that bad.
