Venture capital has never been given to a company in order to truly disrupt an industry, but just to displace the current top dogs. The people who make lots of profit. All the people building decentralized alternatives are truly looking to disrupt these systems where anybody makes lots of profit, to instead better serve workers and customers. To make sustainable small businesses possible. To make the market more competitive. Who would fund that kind of development?
Protocols & FOSS free us from the dictates of middlemen. They enable there to be nearly an endless amount of people making cool stuff and each of us can manage our way through it all easily using any interchangeable service we choose. This situation is obviously great for individuals trying to find what they want, but it also means that nobody is in a position to accumulate societal power over the rest of us. If that's not your experience on the web, something needs fixing. #decentralization
"No Epstein survivor or associate has ever made a public allegation of wrongdoing or inappropriate behavior byΒ ClintonΒ in connection with his prior relationship with Epstein." Same with Trump, while both men had what are widely considered inappropriate relationships with women in other situations. Again, all this stems from the 2008 non prosecution agreement. It implies the govt could have gone after other high profile individuals but did not. Why? #EpsteinFiles
