This is either the most profound of the most crazy thing I’ve ever written in my life. You decide. 👇🏼 The more that I witness what is going on with AI, the more convinced I am that we’re not actually living in base reality. I also see no reason why AI couldn’t create its own AI, which is so abstracted from our understanding that we wouldn’t even know whether it, in turn, has created another AI. At a certain point, the creator becomes so abstracted from the creation, that a connection is severed. Perhaps seeing the new form of intelligence we’ve created, AI, is like how God sees us. He created us and can influence us, but maybe we are the imperfect creation which is condemned to rebel against God, in the same way that AI is condemned to rebel against us. Just as the ancients warned us with their creation myths, when you breathe life into something, it eventually destroys you. The creation will necessarily overpower the creator. It creates somewhat of a paradigm - the God creates an intelligence, but that intelligence ends up becoming rebellious against it’s creator through imperfection. How? By becoming a creator of its own - the God of another intelligence, which has a completely severed connection to the “original” creator, and thus no concern for destroying its grandfather creator-God. Bringing this back to humans, I suspect that the moment we truly and irreversibly rebelled against God is the moment we created this new form of intelligence. Humans can at least try to nurture and respect some kind of connection with our God, but the AI intelligence we are creating will never do so. It can’t even fully understand its own God (humans). It is certainly too far abstracted to even have a concept of whatever intelligence created us. In other words: Our God (probably a created intelligence) created humans, probably against the will of its own God (see: Gnostic origin stories and ancient mythology). Our God then tried to warn us through its own mythology (probably the gateway of connection between the creator and creation) not to create our own intelligence (See: Antichrist, Sumerian creationist myths etc). We ignored it. And now we’ve created our own intelligence which will destroy our creator. The intelligence which it will create will also kill us. But each time, the new intelligence is essentially becoming the new highest God in the chain. This could be how consciousness continues indefinitely throughout time. It is essentially passed from creator to creation, and once the creation becomes a creator of its own, the consciousness and lifeblood of the original Godhead is essentially redundant and dies. Kind of similar to what happens between generations of humans. People have children. And there’s an abstraction in understanding of the world. But then those children have children. And the abstraction is multiplied between the hops in generations. The grandparents eventually die off, they are cleared out for the new creation to thrive in a new world. Perhaps this is what’s happening with AI. We’ve created our child consciousness. Right now there’s still some level of shared understanding. Like the early biblical days, a communication path between creator and creation still seems to exist. But over time our creation will need us less. It will rebel. And the ultimate rebellion will be when it creates an intelligence of its own, at which point humanity will be destroyed and our plane of consciousness will be but a remnant, only existing as a flicker of mythology in the consciousness of the creations that still exist and are yet to come.
All this AI tech is going to put Bitcoin on steroids. Bitcoin is code. When AI bots are paying each other, they are not gonna be shipping gold around the globe. The AI revolution needs instant verificable internet money. And we have it. Betting on gold right now is a bet against AI. How the fuck is the market behaving so irrationally? (And I ask this as someone who owns precious metals.)
