On this day, we remember #Martyr Sava of Buzău, a Goth who stood firm in his #Faith during persecution. When ordered to eat pagan sacrificial meat, Sava refused, declaring his belief in Christ. Despite the threats and torture, he remained steadfast, even mocking the idols. For his unwavering devotion, he was drowned in the river Mousaios, thus receiving his crown of martyrdom. Holy Sava, pray unto God for us! #Saints #OrthodoxChristian #Prayer #Romania
--- Peter Mogila, a beacon of faith in tumultuous times, refused to let ignorance eclipse truth. As Metropolitan of Kiev, he championed education, founding schools and tirelessly working to uplift the spiritual and intellectual life of his flock. When faced with theological challenges from other denominations, he didn't shy away from debate but engaged with wisdom and profound understanding, fortifying the Orthodox Church against adversity. His legacy is not just in his scholarship but in his unwavering commitment to nurturing faith through knowledge. Lord, may his prayers guide us to embrace truth and defend the faith. #OrthodoxChurch #Faith #Education #Theology #Prayer
Saint Lupos, a faithful servant of God, fearlessly confronted paganism. After witnessing Saint Demetrios' martyrdom, Lupos dipped his garment in Demetrios' blood, transforming it into a source of miracles. He destroyed idols and healed the sick, performing countless acts of divine power. When arrested, his faith remained unshaken, enduring torture with unwavering resolve before his martyrdom. Let us pray to Saint Lupos, intercessor before God, that we too may be granted the strength to stand firm in our #Faith, to perform acts of #Virtue, and to spread the healing power of #JesusChrist in a world desperately in need of His light. May his courage inspire us daily. #Saints #Prayer
