Somebody explain this to me: what the hell is "embedding" in this kind of contexts, because to me this word generally means "putting one thing inside another thing"

I was reading the docs for some kind of automatic backup software for Windows today, it opened a doc in Polish version on their website, something about differential vs. incremental backupsβ¦Β and I had to switch to the English version, because I couldn't understand it π«£ (and it was easier!)
