I want a villain arc.
Because you NEED a PCI-E parallel port. #sysadmin
Hacker friends: Am I correct in thinking passkeys replace "something you know" with something you have," or am I missing something here?
I have known for years--YEARS--that Ingram lives by their own rules. Today, I learned that they have their own HTTP ERROR CODES. My #sysadmin will now understand in their *bones* that my every gripe about Ingram is legit. image
The UK is surrendering the Chagos Islands to Mauritius. I'm glad to see the Brits getting out of places they never should have conquered. It threatens the existence of the .io TLD, which is super inconvenient for me. Fortunately I have mwl.sh, which is for... the British Overseas Territory of Saint Helena, Ascension, and Tristan de Cunha. Sigh. :flan_tired: Should a change be needed, maybe I should just fall back to mwl.name?
Today, I have been a full time writer for ten years. Uh... shouldn't I have more books out by now? #writing
Unsolicited advice. 23 and Me is likely to go bankrupt soon. If you ever used them now would be a very good time to log in and delete your data because your data is their single most valuable asset right now.
In case you missed the late Friday announcement: "Run Your Own Mail Server" is leaking out! Get it from my store: https://www.tiltedwindmillpress.com/product/ryoms-ebook/ Or from other, lesser stores. Links at image
Normal authors: release book to the public early in the week, with much fanfare. Me, late Friday afternoon, from a dark alley: "psst! Hey, you! Yeah, you! #sysadmin! Buddy! You ever wanted to Run Your Own Mail Server?" #ryoms https://www.tiltedwindmillpress.com/product/ryoms-ebook/ (boosts appreciated! :flan_beg: ) image
Trying something new is always exciting. I did something odd for the #ryoms sponsors and Patronizers. My muse insisted it would be fun. My muse kept saying it would be fun up until the moment the postman took that heap of 200 packages off my porch. At that point the Muse said "well, it was fun for me, but who knows what your backers will think?" and I completely fall apart. But the tiny sample size of "sponsors who live within one day's mailing distance" says it was well received. At which point the Muse claims the entirety of the credit, the evil bastard.
