Kilimanjaro stood clear this morning, free of clouds, sharp against the sky — a quiet reminder of where I am. Today is about bus prices, timetables, and places to stay. My visa in Tanzania is ending, so every decision matters. Soon I’ll head into town and face the “mzungu price” — where everything suddenly costs more just because you’re white. All afternoon in a small café at the foot of Kilimanjaro. Daypack on the table, laptop open, finishing the blog post I started yesterday. No AC. Just open windows, open doors, and warm air drifting through the room. When it was time to pay, the card machine was dead. I found just enough cash in my bag — paid the café and grabbed street food on the walk back to the hostel. The post is live now. Let’s see who it reaches.

Today I spent some time in a café with my laptop, writing a new blog post.
