So, been thinking about the "W" social media thing. The "European alternative to X". Some kind of Euro corporate tech bro thing. But it's a 'fork' of the #Bluesky code. Currently kind of on Bsky's AT Proto network, but that future is unclear. Bluesky PBC seems to hate it. They claim to be 'decentralized' 🤷 Why do we need such nonsense when the Fediverse is a proven public social media network with thousands of decentralized instances up and running all over the world including all over Europe.
