It comes to your attention that Sarah’s mom doesn’t have enough money to provide clothes for Sarah and her siblings for Christmas. You offer a lot of new clothing to Sarah’s mom and agree to a price of $150, paid when the mom can.
Over time, it becomes apparent that Sarah’s mom struggles financially and is having a great deal of trouble paying for the clothes. In fact, she’s only paid $20 back after more than a year has passed.
