Brothers, when you return home to find your wife worn down by the day’s labors (children tested her patience, disorder crept in despite her efforts, plans unraveled), she may look to you as if you could fix what feels broken.
Resist the temptation to become her functional messiah.
Your calling isn’t to rescue her from every hard providence or absorb her frustrations as though you could bear what only Another can carry. Point her upward. The comfort she needs, the strength for tomorrow, the peace in chaos…these flow from the throne, not from you.
Love her by reminding her where true help comes from. Pray with her. Open Scripture together. Lead her to the well you both drink from.
You can’t be her savior because that position is already filled. Be the husband who faithfully directs her gaze to Him.

Everyone’s gonna talk about resolutions. Most will say gym, diet, the usual suspects which in itself is fine, but here’s the thing…if it’s not sustainable, you’re just performing January.
So start here. Take your last dump of 2025 and flush the shit that’s been holding you back. Literally and metaphorically.
I don’t do New Year’s resolutions. I do life resolutions. The kind you make with yourself and someone who’ll actually home you accountable when you’re tempted. It’ll feel uphill. Good. That’s how you know you need it.
Resistance is the tax on transformation. You don’t avoid it. You pay it.
So stack harder. Create more. Lead your household well. Read until your brain hurts, then read some more. Real education doesn’t come from scrolling feeds designed to rot your soul.
And let’s resolve this together…grow Nostr into a space that doesn’t just tolerate difference but welcomes it. We’ve got more common ground than the culture wants us to believe. The algorithms profit from division. We don’t have to.
Act like it.
