January 20th is, for many, a normal day. However, we must acknowledge that a year ago today, the US saw a shift in power which has (unfortunately) rippled across the globe. A year on, we think it's fair to say that, whilst we are still horrified by the decisions, language, and actions of the US administration (and beyond), the initial hopelessness is beginning to dissipate.
