one of the rare times i went on Reddit, but got an email and the title caught my attention, this [setup](https://www.reddit.com/r/LocalLLaMA/comments/1n8n9u6/converted_my_unused_laptop_into_a_family_server/ ) is soo cool.. idk why they count a 2021 MBP as an old laptop but the idea is cool.. sadly to get any sort of similar performance with decent models the hardware still costs quite a lot :/
