Husband's military bestie stopped by to visit. He said it's so expensive for him to visit but he does see where the money is going. He mentioned a lot of things he noticed that Switzerland is good at like the water, train, the environment but the one thing that stuck to me was, "look, even the fucking cows look government-funded". 😄

Everyone knows someone who "polls". This is the person who wastes your time and still asks for your opinion on a decision they're about to make when you very well know they've already on decided what to do.

Uplifting people can become exhausting. Often a regardless act. Whether you're a leader or a friend, there is always going to be a limit to what you can do for the person before it starts to evolve into being used.
