The individuals or groups, especially Westerners who summit Everest get a lot of attention and accolade for making it up there once. It's a big deal, sure. But rarely do people ever give credit or talk about the Sherpas who have summited more than once. Kami Rita, a Nepali Sherpa has been up there 31 times. 31! He breaks his record every year and has been climbing since 1994. What a fucking legend.
