In Python, globals are fine. - unpopular opinion A “global” is just global to a module, so it’s not really global, it’s contained in the module namespace. A module with functions and “global” data can be thought of as a singleton object in a lot of cases. Chill on the no globals thing.

I’m looking forward to Tuesday, as it’s a day that is never “cyber” or “black” and can just be Tuesday.

I just started using architecture decision records. I’m liking it so far, even for solo projects. I’m just using an in-repo docs/adr folder and using hand copy/paste/modify markdown files with one template file. Nothing fancy. A couple resources for ADRs -
