No joke, Iβve had this fear for decades, since elementary school swimming class.
Treading water, breaststroke, no problem. Front crawl, I feel out of control, like I canβt breathe.
And since Iβve always been pretty good at sports in general, my ego prevented me from practicing a discipline that doesnβt come naturally to me.
Anyway, my daughter is learning how to swim, so I decided to face my fear as a sign of support.
