if I were running Apple AI I'd first and foremost ensure autocorrect weren't worse than when the original iphone came out. There should never be a typo or contextually incorrectly chosen word, and the UI around typing (the #1 user input action by far on phones, laptops, tablets) has not changed in decades (as I typed this autocorrect suggested 'decaes') start thinking about AI as a way to improve product experience, develop those muscles, not BS greenfield IMAGINE keynote fodder".

for those (including Apple) concerned about the impact of side loading apps on privacy and security–there is a web established solution, Web Apps. Now thanks to Apple's approach to browser engines on iOS (slowly being changed thanks to a number of regulators around the world but *really* thanks to @npub1kn4y...3asa) web apps are a worse experience in some ways on mobile (fewer APIs like NFC and BT) and a dire install experience. But it is possible to deliver sophisticated web apps. 1/n
What if we treated capitalism not as a sacrosanct truth about the world, but as a humanly created technology, developed to achieve specific outcomes? That we can actively change, adapt and evolve? Which if course it is.
The @npub1tl7p...6j09 recently published a set of ethical principles to help shape the ongoing development of the Web. My humble suggestion is all companies that benefit from the web adopt them too and these form the social contract of the Web. Hey an idealist can idealise.
