In Loveland, Colorado… I give you a giant banana bronze sculpture. Loveland is known for its bronze sculptures and the foundries that make them. This is one of the bronzes in their sculpture park. The interesting thing is the yellow is not paint… It is a patina, that is a chemical reaction to the metal that colors the bronze. It has been done for hundreds of years. #artstr #grownostr image

TOOL TIP TUESDAY: Everyone needs a little bit of organization in their shop. However, buying holders can get rather expensive. In today’s tool tip, I will show you a very cheap and inexpensive tool holder that can be made from parts from the hardware store. All you need are some drywall screws that are the length that you would need for the tool holder and some 1/4 inch plastic drip irrigation line. 1️⃣ Cut the irrigation line to about 1/2 inch less than the threaded part of the screw. 2️⃣ Insert screw thread into the plastic irrigation line. 3️⃣ Screw the drywall screw in into the place where you want to hang the tool. Make sure at least a half inch of the thread goes into the wood or substrate. You now have a hanger that is inexpensive and will protect your tool from getting damaged or lost. Cheers! #grownostr #tools #diy #woodworking
