Faaa Cloudflare Turnstile is the piece I didn't think about. (I had been using reCaptcha.) Though that's still easier to fix than DNS. I just don't know that I have a fallback to Turnstile (since I won't give reCaptcha a credit card it can infinite spend on.)
Not having all your eggs in one basket gives you more ways to fix some things if you need to. RE:
[@stream.place]( ) love that I can listen to an audio only situation with my phone in my pocket and also the pip (or whatever it’s called on iPhone) so I can use more than one app and still see what’s going on with Streamplace.
I’m annoyed that I have drafts of several things that would seriously help a number of people IF I could work out a few details AND make sure updates are near realtime (which isn’t quite possible with either feedbuilder I tinker with.) I need to deep focus on work in more ways than one.
Why do I now want leckerli cookies …
Poking at the new Affinity app and for a few seconds I was impressed ... and then I wasn't. Proprietary .af file. Ok fine, I'll export my vector scribble test. But then I exported as an EPS file. It flattens the layers. Why? I've been "saving as" EPS files w/ layers from Illustrator since 1999.
Per labeler setting for !warn & !hide. I know that the few labelers doing this are doing so to protect a community so I understand the decision but I do want the granularity of control for myself. Hoping more clients/apps end up doing this (I don't have an android I can test with.) #atproto RE:
Does anyone have a suggestion for an android phone I won't hate that's also cheap that I can use for testing? It wouldn't be my main phone. Or maybe better - what android has a good camera? esim? (Restricted to people I follow only because I want thoughts from people I know.)
I’m over here turning off all labelers and various warn settings trying to figure out why a particular response was hidden … Argh … is there a per post tool that will show me what might be applied? I know how to look up an account…
