I kinda honestly had forgotten I wrote a couple of multi-page articles for Artisan Spirit magazine back in 2020. And most of what I wrote was pretty sound advice even though I learned even more about virtual events in the months after I wrote them. (photo sorting still...)
More incoming severe weather, with a side of state of emergency issued for Kentucky. [governor.ky.gov/attachments/...](πŸ“„.pdf ) I know we have chaotic weather here but this year has seemed SO much more chaotic than usual (& it's not just hype.) I like a regular thunderstorm but I'm kinda tired already. RE: [governor.ky.gov/attachments/20...](πŸ“„.pdf )
I think I have been outside enough today that I have little bits of sunburn. Flood watch through Sunday so grilling since it’s probably the last decent day to do so for a week. Tim finds the vegetable prep meditative. I find the fire meditative. The cat is mediative about the potential meat. https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreidf25ix2qxer3jbqvrye3743ipc6gw4lnqwkgovhi5ftryhztdbpa
Kentucky flat out broke it's tax portal in the upgrade. The system clearly will not send an email in response to the "forgot password" option (which is what they directed us to do - it's not in spam) and the gov phone number provided has an obnoxiously short music loop & no info on hold time...
A week of being sick and no workouts means that a 20 minute walk/hike feels like more of a workout than it should. Spri-winter is here though and things are in bloom. (I fully expect snow now because I barely mentioned spring.) I love how these turn certain fields a blanket of pink/purple. https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreieoizz5sqevhhkc2cmope4ay5fjm4jwdaadyhave66ksu6rnl6n5y
Deleted last post because I don't want it shared as false info. Apparently my Hoopla history IS there & the system is just saying my Library pin number is wrong. Library changed system it uses without warning. I'm making notes of what I favorited & history in case I lose access to that soon.
I think I have a couple more days of photo sorting ahead of me so I’m looking for recommendations for audiobooks I can listen to. Anyone have any impactful positive business or life books they want to share?
I just came across a Bluesky Bingo image from April 9, 2023 (I'm sorting photos & images right now.) I don't know who created it and I can't easily find it (so let me know if you know.) I think it predates alt text being an option which makes it harder to search. Actually it predates a LOT. πŸ˜‚ https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreiaufehcuhcttgerv4x33iyo4tjwdivwto2cjb544x36pkxpnpfrue
Currently working on a massive multi-year photo sort that isn’t exactly exciting. So meanwhile I bring you a delayed Caturday post: https://shiitake.us-east.host.bsky.network/xrpc/com.atproto.sync.getBlob?did=did:plc:tbr4cunn6r4hox73ybzjfwt3&cid=bafkreibk7rowfgduj2tvdjloh4uorlf65xdhpr6tcrniz44chjt7w3uzga
I use command tab so much I was suddenly wondering why I don't seem to be ambidextrous with that keyboard shortcut and it has to do with the fact that the tab is only on the left side of my keyboard... Is a tab near the return even a thing on any keyboard? I don't want to remap and confuse myself.
