I spent 3+ hours making food yesterday that’s fully cooked and can be thawed or reheated in case the electricity goes out with the impending winter storm. If the power stays on, I guess I just meal prepped. Now back to regularly scheduled programming.

Wondering if I could run an instapot off a generator. Prep for incoming weather & debating making some things that can just be reheated in the instapot since I can fallback to the grill if needed. Only other issue is if multi-day I have to do a fire in the fireplace & asses the water (pipes.)

If you own an ancient car and you don't drive it daily, get yourself a battery charger & give it a charge when it gets cold. Or else you'll be halfway to your destination & the constantly filling airbag pump plus the radio will be too much & it will warning ding (until you turn off the radio.)

Apparently yesterday’s forecast for today was completely wrong since it now looks like it’s going to rain all day. Looking at the radar I don’t think a break is likely for a hike today either. At least I charged the battery on an ancient vehicle yesterday (it wasn’t happy having sat.)
