Some updates on the #Framework situation. I'm glad that they are being explicit about these kinds of things. Probably still shouldn't give money to someone like DHH or boost them (which, yk, if you're in support of queer people and immigrants, why pay people that want no immigrants or queer people to exist?). That being said, this seems honest and tracks with Framework's history before the whole DHH stuff IMHO.

I wish I could fund a mail client for modern #GNOME. Geary is going to be stuck in GTK3 for the foreseeable future, Evolution, while nice, is in the same position due to it's custom widgets, and Thunderbird doesn't use GOA ...

Can US media stop pretending that the tarrifs are "reciprocal"? Or that the numbers Trump shows for what e.g. the EU charges on US imports is anywhere close to what it actually charges? There just simply is no 39% tarrif that the EU charges on US goods, it's completely made up
While RCS is a good way to get Apple users to communicate with Android users, it's also still a terrible communications standard and we really shouldn't be pretending it's E2E encrypted in any meaningful way atm
I really love the Light Phone 3's UX. I kind of want to create a GTK version of it - maybe one that works on a single-app Wayland compositor like cage, and with postmarketOS?
