The old days were so confusing. There was a guy in Austin that used to run the Bitcoin meetup who would brag about how he sent Bitcoin "around the world." Another guy was buying every altcoin in sight and celebrated when he broke even on one of them. Still another guy refused to buy and only would mine, which would, of course, be much worse than just buying Bitcoin.
Be thankful that there's so much clarity now. You have 16 years of history to look at and make good judgments. We had none of that back in 2013.
I know Facebook has 10 floors of a giant highrise in downtown Austin that they're paying for but haven't occupied, so that's probably a part of why they're moving the moderation team to Austin.
