This man is Jared Bernstein, chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. He does not understand the monetary system that he's advising on.

Bitcoiners without Nostr accounts are a bit sus to me now.

We already have decentralized IDs. They're called npubs.

This, too, shall pass.

Decentralized tech is not for the marginal user.

Nostr generally has poor discovery. I don't have many moments on here where I find new people to follow that I don't already know from other platforms. Thankfully, being decentralized, the client that comes up with more effective algos will have an advantage and will get copied. I just wish there were more interesting data-driven attempts at discovery being tried.
